And So It Begins. Again.

This past Wednesday I became official.
The i's have been dotted and the t's have been crossed and, by official action of the Global Mission unit of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, a call has been extended for me to serve as the YAGM Coordinator in Malaysia.
Less than 72 hours later, I'm prepped and ready to jet halfway around the planet for two weeks of visiting sites where volunteers will be placed in the fall, meeting with leadership of our partners in Sabah, and starting to get a sense of what life will be like later this year when I return to settle down more permanently along the South China Sea on the North Coast of Malaysian Borneo.
How is that for a rapid introduction and a new beginning?
