In Bloom

In the past when I've come to Iringa it has always been August, well into the dry-season, and months since the last drop of rain. The landscape can best be described as various shades of brown, hauntingly beautiful in its own right. Now however, with the rains a more recent event, vestiges of green and bright flowering blooms dot the landscape.

The picture above is from a stroll around town earlier this week. There are more posted in the photo album 'Tanzania [Tena]' in the column on the right. As I get the opportunity -and access to quick internet- I'll try to add more interesting shots as the weeks go on. Enjoy!
